Winner announced on Aug. 30 2010 The Elan Passport Wallet for iPhone 4 by Griffin Technologies is a very well made leather billfold style case for the iPhone 4, with a professional look. It would be at home in the boardroom, a woman's Coach purse, or just out and about. The case provides protection, a place to store credit and/or business cards, and easy access to buttons and docking port. The downside? THe leather sides on the front of the iPhone make it difficult to get your finger to the left and right edges, making tasks like moving icons from page to page difficult. Text messaging is also a bit problematic in portrait or landscape mode, and could be a deal killer. If this kind of case appeals to you though, the benefits will probably outweigh the negatives. Our suggestion to Griffin is to redesign this case just like the Elan Passport for iPad with straps.
